SCPDCA To-go Container Policy--Effective immediately, the removal of food from any catered event is prohibited. This policy is necessary to protect Association residents and guests from possible food borne illnesses. Food preparation and serving practices in a catered environment differ from those in a restaurant. Often, several hours elapse between initial preparation of food items and the conclusion of an event. After food items are served, proper storage cannot be ensured and the risk of spoilage increases. The removal of food from Boulevards, in "to go containers, will still be permitted.
